Well, I'm used to use MySql 4.x so I setup a yum repository at: yum fedora-pri-testing http://yum.nopapers.org/fedora/1/testing Remember to import the signature at: http://yum.nopapers.org/fedora/1/testing/signature_for_up2date.txt Basically you need to remove these packages: perl-DBD-MySQL php-mysql then up2date -u if you allready have mysql3.x installed or: up2date -i mysql mysql-server php-mysql4 perl-DBD-MySQL and you are set... I building other packages as well as squirrelmail-1.42 or phpMyAdmin.. You are pleased to use any or all of these rpms.
