Security Issue with Squirrelmail

I installed the squirrelmail package from fedora.  Can assume that the
pack has all the security/file permission mentioned in
http://www.squirrelmail.org/wiki/en_US/QuickAndDirty.

As a package user, what security measure must I take in addition to just
installing the package.
