No that was the point Philipp. It won't even attempt the install. linux text starts the text install, but anaconda just exits because of the ram limit. I went back last nite and installed shrike RH9 on the machine and it is now running, although quite slowly. It isn't processor limiting, I am getting timeout errors from the HD because of all the swapping going on. I think I may be able to make these work with some of the lighter weight desktop/browsers out there. It has sort of become a challenge now, I guess.
