why isn't Module i810_audio in the 2.6 kernel?

Every time that I boot up my machine, I have to run redhat-config-soundcard

I get this error, but sound works after running the program.

FATAL: Module i810_audio is not in kernel.
sox: Unable to set audio speed to 44100 (set to 43549)
-8

Was this module replaced by a different named module?

The pop-up of r-c-sound displays the below.

Vendor: Intel Corp.
Model: 82801AA AC'97 Audio
Module: i810_audio

Thanks,

Jim
