If you're referring to me, the laptop has been running Linux for 2 years. It does "crash" or "hang" occasionally -- it just hung tonight when I compiled and installed 2.6.0 -- I suspect I compiled it for Pentium rather than Crusoe -- in any case I just re-booted into 2.4.23, re-compiled 2.6.0 and am running it now. I always keep several kernels available.
