Fedora Core 1 Lockup / Caps lock light / scroll lock light

Hello, Everyone :)
Has anyone seen the following problem:
I was running a few applications: wget, mirrordir, copydir
When I returned about fifteen minutes later, a screensaver was locked up
on my monitor, and the caps lock and scroll lock lights on my keyboard
were flashing on and off. I assumed that it was a screensaver related
issue, so after my forced reboot, I disabled screensavers in KDE.
If anyone has had this happen and maybe even has a way to fix it, I'd be
glad to know :)
And if I can be of any help, let me know.
Oh, yeah, I am running a full installation (not an upgrade) of Fedora
Core 1 on a machine with an Abit KD7 motherboard, 512mb of RAM, Western
Digital 120gig harddrive (primary master) and a Maxtor 160gig drive
(secondary master)

Thanks in advance for your help :)
Steven P. Ulrick
