xmms segfault with MP3 or OGG

Hello all,

I'm using the latest xmms for fedora core 1 (with xmms-mp3 from freshrpms):

$ rpm -qa | grep xmms
xmms-devel-1.2.8-3.p
xmms-skins-1.2.8-3.p
xmms-crossfade-0.3.4-0.fdr.1.1
xmms-1.2.8-3.p
xmms-mp3-1.2.8-3.2.fr
xmms-flac-1.1.0-0.fdr.13.1

When I run xmms and try to play an MP3 or an OGG, I get a segfault:

===========================================
$ xmms
Segmentation fault

You've probably found a bug in XMMS, please visit
http://bugs.xmms.org and fill out a bug report.

Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0xc09)!
===========================================

(This happens after I press the 'Play' button with an MP3 or OGG loaded).

This happens on multiple machines, all with Fedora Core 1 and the same
packages above.

The MP3's don't play with Noatun (since MP3 support has been stripped from
Fedora KDE binary packages), but the ogg's do.

Any ideas?
