I have two desktop systems (one at home, one at work) that I have upgraded from Red Hat 9 to Fedora Core 1. Overall things have been great, but on both computers I've noticed that displaying a PGP-signed message in KMail has gone from being virtually instant under RH9 to taking several seconds under FC1. Presumably something has slowed down in the interaction between kmail and gnupg, because if I save the message to a file, running gpg --verify on it returns immediately. I was using the RH packages for KDE 3.1.4 on both systems, and am now using the KDE provided with Fedora Core, so the version of kmail has not changed (though I suppose it's possible build options may have). Has anyone else seen this problem? More importantly, does anyone know how to solve it? Thanks in advance! -- Kelson Vibber SpeedGate Communications, www.speed.net
