I did a bit more research and if the mp3 directory appears in audiocd:/,
it means it was compiled with mp3 support, but just missing other
auxilary libraries (libmp3lame).  If you still don't get it working from
my previous email, try the following URL for a much better explanation
of how audiocd:/ works under KDE:
