Hi;
  when I run k3b as 'mick' it hangs at the coloured 'checking system' box.

I 'yum erase k3b*' then 'yum install k3b*' with the same result.
Fully updated F14 x64 2.6.35.11-83.fc14.x86_64

When 'su -' k3b from konsole:

[root@localhost mick]# k3b
K3bQProcess::QProcess(0x0)
K3bQProcess::QProcess(0x0)

QMetaObject::invokeMethod: No such method K3b::Application::loadCommandLineOptionsForNewInstance()
[root@localhost mick]#

Then I can use it just fine.

When I close it:
