Now after removing compiz-gnome, now the windows manager is not working properly. All the windows get anchored to the upper left corner of the screen.... When I reinstall compiz-gnome, the windows are released from being anchored to that corner and I can see the windows properly. But If I reboot the computer reverts back to a blank screen...... Is there a way to revert back, and/or removing the setting "desktop-effects", back to the default.....???? On Tue, Jan 25, 2011 at 12:02, Dr. Michael J.
