When I put in a commercial DVD I get the following errors. I do not get any errors with data DVDs. The drive is in a firewire external enclosure. I've cleaned the lens with a cleaning CD which didn't help. I was going to try 'noapic' kernel parameter but I'm not going to hold my breath...
