It might be as simple as editing /etc/sysconfig/nspluginwrapper to 
include libnpjp2* in the IGNORE_WRAP line and then removing the link 
/usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins-wrapped/libnpjp2.so

Does it show up in about:plugins when you run firefox?
