This suggests to me that the current package is fc12 and it was supposed to be removed by the upgrade, but wasn't. If you install the yum-utils package and run package-cleanup --orphans does the package show up? Does it work if you remove rdesktop-1.6.0-7.fc12.i686, and then install it from the F14 repositories?
