versa is the fact that nouveau is built in the initrd so that KMS can be
used.
If you want to switch to nvidia, you have to blacklist nouveau, and then
re-
generate the initrd
Although I did blacklist nouveau, I didn't regenerate the initrd. Hopefully that fixes it.
I *think* that the rpmfusion nvidia package already generated a
blacklist-nouveau
file in modprobe.d. I this is true, you'd just have to recreate the initrd
with dracut.

Hmm, I'm still getting the same results. I followed the instructions above but when I reboot, after the three blue bars have finished loading and turned white, the bar starts flickering and eventually comes to a halt. After that nothing happens. I go back to nouveau things work fine again. Any further suggestions?
