Hi, Sorry for being so late with my reply but I was off work sick for the last few days. I tried your suggestion. I booted with nomodeset set and did a full update to the latest packages. Linux bleisce2.csis.ul.ie 2.6.33.8-149.fc13.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Aug 17 22:53:15 UTC 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I then rebooted with the latest kernel and nomodeset set and got 800x600 resolution. I then rebooted with iommu=soft set and got a "mistuned TV" screen. You can see the login box in the background and you can actually login but the screen stays like a "mistuned TV" Thanks, Tony -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
