    I believe the limiting factor is the amount of memory available, in
    this case I needed more than three megs. I have a Netgear WGR614v5
    that can't be used with dd-wrt. I am presently using an WGR614v9
    that I believe has 4 megs and can be converted if I choose to do so.

    Those spec's are published in the dd-wrt pages.
