You can change some of the settings within Virt-Manager itself.

Also for macs'\shown names
I have had sucess by shutting down Virt-Manager completly,
directly editing the relevant /etc/libvirt/qemu/*xml script,
then reboot the Host box.

As I had only 10guests, I had reserved 10ips\macs in the Hardware router,
whic supplies dhcp to everything here, including the guests using the 
bridge (br0)
