Well then I guess things do change with time. <smile> Several ears ago, on another distro (which shall remain nameless) very similar to Red hat / Fedora, it was suggested that this problem could be caused by running out of resources. Too many desktops, just sitting there and not doing 'anything', was also supposed to slow down the system. Busy ones would slow it down more and could cause a crash. But you would know because you use that many workspaces. And I would not because two is more than enough for me. But I can also see why this might not be seen by developers too. However many in this thread, plus 1, is all of the users that I know of that make this extensive of a use of this many workspaces. The 'plus 1' user uses 16 and he has not mentioned workspaces crashes only crashes of applications in workspaces. I hope that you find a satisfactory solution. -- David -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
