I renamed the /usr/lib/nspluginwrapper directory, but it didn't appear to 
effect anything at all.

I do build my kernels (currently 2.6.35-rc+one patch) with 32 bit support 
even though this is a 64 bit install.  That could possibly make a 
difference.
