Hmm. That's nice behavior. My version of tar doesn't do that. It
always reads to EOF. I think I'll have to upgrade, since I use
tar to do backups, and when I restore, I have to go through
all the DVDs up to the file I want, and then abort with a ^C or
similar.
I wonder when that was added?
