Ah... No.... At the login screen it displays "Other..." pressing ctl-f1 displays a blue box underneath it saying "Choose another Account" and nothing else. The only other key that does anything is the "Enter" key and that takes me back to where I was entering root as a user id. Pressing Alt f2 does absolutely nothing. I last installed Fedora 9 on this box, many years ago and I didn't seem to have any problems until one of the hard drives went bad. Is there anything else I can try?
