skype-2.1.0.81-fc10.i586 is the most up to date version.  There is no 
version specific to F12.  I've been using skype on Linux for a while and 
I've observed that skype <-> skype calls work just fine even with 
video.  On the other hand skype <-> land line calls are inconsistent. At 
times I've experienced delays, noise and drop outs, other times it works 
fine.
