By default when an audio CD is inserted (Fedora 12, Gnome), a window pops up promting the user what they want to do. This behavior can be changed so that the prompt does not happen by running System -> Preferences -> File Management (nautilus-file-management-properties) and going to the Media tab. Is there a way to change this preference from a (bash) script? I tried using the command: $ gconftool-2 -t string -s /apps/nautilus/preferences/media_autorun_x_content_ignore "[xcontent/software,x-content/audio-cdda]" but this does not work, and causes nautilus-file-management-properties to crash.
