If you want to install upstream OOo-Sun/Oracle, you can NOT install downstream OOo-Fedora; and of course, you can NOT update upstream OOo via yum, you will have to download OOo from www.openoffice.org and install/update it manually. You must choose which one to install, you can not have both installed, even if upstream installs in /opt (this is due to the URE version issue, yum will try to update it with the URE in Fedora's repo; beside, you cannot have desktop integration for both upstream and downstream versions). So you have to choose which one to use: Fedora's build or upstream OOo (though you can "install" upstream OOo "in parallel", as explained here: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Run_OOo_versions_parallel but this way you don't have desktop integration for the upstream version) Regards -- Ariel Constenla-Haile La Plata, Argentina -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
