Since I had no replies here I tried to find some help on forums. A fellow asked me a question that helped me to see were I was unclear in my original post here. So, here some clarification. I did not synchronize any of application files between different distro's. By stating:"I created "shared" profile on each system and synchronized them using Unison", I meant the following. I created new user profiles in Firefox and named them "shared" on all of my 3 systems. The name could be any other, the goal was to keep the user profile names equal on each system in order to simplify Unison configuration files. The Fedora Firefox profile synchronized the way I described is fully functional except the little problem described.
