Here's where I'm at: I installed system-config-display If I plug the second monitor into the laptop before I boot, then it partially works as is, if I open say a Konsole then it opens on the second screen. However I cannot move my mouse to the second screen which makes it pretty difficult to use te newly started konsole window. So, I tried running system-config-display, I checked the boz for it to use dual head but when I clicked OK I get this : system-config-display Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/system-config-display/xConfigDialog.py", line 211, in ok if card.getDescription() == self.secondVideocardOptionMenu.get_menu().get_active().get_data("NAME"): Am I going about this wrong? Here's my xrandr output: # xrandr Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1600 x 900, maximum 8192 x 8192 VGA-0 connected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 1440x900 59.9 + 75.0 1280x1024 75.0 70.0 60.0 1152x864 75.0 1024x768 75.1 70.1 60.0 832x624 74.6 800x600 72.2 75.0 60.3 56.2 640x480 72.8 75.0 66.7 60.0 720x400 70.1 LVDS connected 1600x900+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 382mm x 214mm 1600x900 60.3*+ 1440x900 59.9 1280x854 59.9 1280x800 59.8 1280x720 59.9 1152x768 59.8 1024x768 60.0 59.9 800x600 60.3 59.9 56.2 848x480 59.7 720x480 59.7 640x480 59.9 59.4 -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
