I'm not having any luck with wine on x86_64. With the full complement of wine* installed, nothing much works. Problems seem to be 32 vs. 64 bit issues. So, I tried removing all wine*.x86_64, leaving the i686. This doesn't work either. winecfg wine: created the configuration directory '/home/nbecker/.wine' wine: could not exec wineserver I'm guessing a working wine setup would require grabbing additional i686 packages that are not in the x86_64 repo.
