I have an old Pentium M based laptop running F11 the update complains about gstreamer-plugins-base. It indicates the package conflicts with gstreamer-plugins-good.

Known problem, there was a bad push, and you must be using a mirror which is not up to date. If you are using the 'fastest mirror' feature, note which repository you are using, and remove it from the mirrors list in /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/fastestmirror.conf (or delete the file).

I think the problem below is the same thing, same fix should get you going.

On another F11 system (dual Pentium 4) I get the following error:

--> Running transaction check
--> Processing Dependency: texlive = 2007-42.fc11 for package: kpathsea-2007-42.fc11.i586
---> Package texlive.i586 0:2007-46.fc11 set to be updated

---> Package texlive-utils.i586 0:2007-46.fc11 set to be updated
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
kpathsea-2007-42.fc11.i586 from installed has depsolving problems
--> Missing Dependency: texlive = 2007-42.fc11 is needed by package kpathsea-2007-42.fc11.i586 (installed) Error: Missing Dependency: texlive = 2007-42.fc11 is needed by package kpathsea-2007-42.fc11.i586 (installed)
 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
 You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
                        package-cleanup --dupes
                        rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Anyone seen these errors and know of a fix?

Paolo
