On one of my systems, there is a driver (rtl8187) that does not unload/reload properly (https:// bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=469461) and needs to be unloaded/ reloaded explicitly (/etc/pm/sleep.d/06rtl8187). My point here is that it's not necessarilly the nvidia drivers (that system uses them) Look in /var/log/pm-suspend.log.
