Well, I'm using that version... and I'm still having no luck. ypbind on the server machine works fine; but on the client it fails with this in /var/log/messages: Jun 19 02:13:03 stile ypbind: NIS server for domain ENDOFRAME is not responding. /etc/sysconfig/network has: NISDOMAIN=ENDOFRAME and /etc/yp.conf has: domain ENDOFRAME server hinge.endoframe.net I can ssh from the client machine to hinge just fine.
