You mean

[root@boatbuyer grub]# yum install yum-updatesd
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
dries

BTW, tried 10.1 and 10-1, neither works. Please tell me why
repodata/repomd.xml is appended to the URL? and why it is seemingly
looking for 10.1 instead of udating yum?

I have been looking at any progress yum may have been up-to. It
didn't look like progress was taking place, nothing installed.

[root@boatbuyer grub]# uname -r
2.6.17-1.2174_FC5smp

Are you saying all I have to do now is reboot?

I have mentioned the above problem in previous posts but no one seems
to have a response? Will updates cure it?

Thanks for the link, I will work on it.
