The url was also incorrect or not working for Fedora 9. Go with the default, i.e. mirrorslist, or visit http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/publiclist, select a mirror (hope it's a fast one) close to your location, and enter its url in place of the fedora server. >> 2.
