I think it's great that you guys are making your own spins. :) 

Perhaps if you are interested you would be interested in helping out
with the offical Xfce spin? Feel free to contact me off list if so. 
Of course we are more constrained there, only releasing at release
time, and not adding in any packages that are not in Fedora.

hi kevin and thanks very much for the offer, and i would like to help out with the xfce spin but to be brutaly honest i'm a linux newb, if it wasn't for man pages and how-to's i'd have never gotten my custom spin to work, (in fact i came across lots of head scratching to get it to work anyway lol) but if there is anything someone with my limited skills can help with just let me know
