-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, I have installed F-10 on several machines. A HP proliant, a T42, and a Dell D620 On the T42, when it's booting, there's a nice graphical (kinda like a blue planet exploding :) in the lower right. There is also a back splash with the Fedora logo (centered, and smallish), with a progress bar (centered) just below that. On the other 2 installations, There's this quarter inch / 2cm high progress meter bar that spans the width of the screen. I'd like to get the what I see on the T42 (splash screen, graphical UI) on my other installations. I've tried copying the grub files from /usr/share/grub/i386-redhat/, reinstalling the MBR. I've checksum'ed the files in /boot/grub, and aside from grub.conf, the files are bit for bit, byte for byte identical... I can't see what's causing/allowing the T42 to have the fancier boot screen... Anyone know about this? All the best, - -Greg - -- +---------------------------------------------------------------------+ Please also check the log file at "/dev/null" for additional information.
