I just know that the same entries exist in fstab on my F10 netbook and Mandriva 2009 laptop. The laptop must have some sort of built-in time limit, I guess, because it doesn't make me wait over-long. Of course if NetworkManager was working on the netbook I would only have that one delay, which might then not feel too bad. As it is, you could make a cup of tea while it's booting up. Anne
