Try this: * open a Konsole * paste these 2 lines: kquitapp plasma ; sleep 2 ; mv -f ~/.kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc \ ~/.kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc.backup ; plasma & (or drop the backslash and write it all in one line).
