On an x86_64 system? x86_64 is supposed to work without PAE. Check your BIOS.


If the user of this broken thread is using x86_64, then they need to find a "PCI Memory Remap" (or similar named) feature in their BIOS and enable it. This will allow the full 4 gigs to be seen.
