I have tried backing up the > "Home" folder but after restoring it, I still had the same problem. I would log in as a different user, su - , and make a tar of /home/myuser. Then when you blow things up, log in as the different user, su -, rm -r /home/myuser and restore your tar file. It probably won't work right if you try to do this while logged in as myuser so start as a different user. You can set up a "junk" user just for that purpose. -- MELVILLE THEATRE ~ Melville Sask ~ http://www.melvilletheatre.com DRY CLEANER BUSINESS FOR SALE ~ http://www.canadadrycleanerforsale.com -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
