Thanks!I didn't know yum was broken except that I have NOT been getting updates for some weeks! Some other program (packagekit??) delivered me a new kernel 2.6.25.14-108.fc9.i686 without my usual "yum update" Under F9 there is a software update dialog for setting (must be ) auto updates! I DO NOT wabt auto updates since yum update showed me what was arriving! ---------------------------------------- > Date: Tue, 2 Sep 2008 17:20:21 +0100 > From: billcrawford1970@xxxxxxxxx > To: gayleard@xxxxxxxxxx; fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > CC: > Subject: Re: When will Yum updates be working again? > > On 02/09/2008, Timothy Murphy wrote: >> Bill Crawford wrote: >> >>>> I would say it has been asked but not answered, many times. >>> >>> It's been answered, just not with a specific time, which is obviously >>> what everyone wants, but ...
