As I have <snip> i well know what you mean about filters and mailboxes, even more so as i run 2 different installs. on this box, for internet and email, i am using scientific linux 5.2. for my account, i have 8 filters, 3 are 2 lines 'anded', 2 are 1 line, 2 are 2 lines 'ored', 1 is 5 lines 'ored'. my mom's account has 4 filters, all 1 line. 'local folders' is 2 single line. 'local folders' has 6 added mailboxes. currently, for main 'playstation', i have f8 installed. all filters are 'local filters'. mailboxes are treed to 'chat' with 5 sub boxes, 'family' has 8 sub, 'friends' has 20 sub, 'hold' has 4 sub. 'linux' branches to 8, which then branch to low of 3 sub to a high of 8 sub. 'mail list' has 5 sub. 'personal' has 6 sub. 'linkto' has 6 sub that link to sl5.2 local. i do most all reading and replies from sl5.2. if i need to check something on 'playstation', i do so after i run filters, which moves everything to above named. after i check what ever and reply, i move reply to 'linkto/hold'. when i reboot to sl5.2, i open 'hold', then 'edit as new' and send. i agree, it is 'a little bit much', but i have been doing this for so long, i find it easy to set up and it keeps things organized and safe. i now make daily and weekly tape backups and monthly dvd backups. > Understood, no problem, and thanks. :) good, glad, you are welcome. > Not required now that I know, but my point is 100% valid, if it effects the <snip> no argument to your point, and well understood. if you look at how long list is, you may see why it is as it is. > OT: > I need to learn something of your native tongue i am half greek, half scotch-irish. i speak some greek, and can read and pronounce what i read, understanding about 2% of it. no scotch or irish. my native tongue is american english. to answer your question, that you did not ask, 'tc,hago' + 'take care, have a good one'. - -- tc,hago. g . in a free world without fences, who needs gates. learn linux: 'Rute User's Tutorial and Exposition' http://rute.2038bug.com/index.html.gz 'The Linux Documentation Project' http://www.tldp.org/ 'HowtoForge' http://howtoforge.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Red Hat - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFIp68S+C4Bj9Rkw/wRAvrPAJ46dtO6/XkQOkAL7Zb9P1uWbVTlggCgqWwP XHTLChJJjkmjhLRpad73Nf0= =xbUy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
