I installed F9 (new installation) and I cannot access a WinXP computer anymore. Everything worked fine with F7 and F8. I can ping the computer and I get the following errors if I run smbclient. smbclient -L 192.168.1.4 Domain=[#######] OS=[Windows 5.1] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager] Sharename Type Comment --------- ---- ------- E$ Disk Default share IPC$ IPC Remote IPC D$ Disk Default share print$ Disk Printer Drivers SharedDocs Disk ####_###### (E) Disk EpsonStylusPhoto Printer Epson Stylus Photo Printer3 Printer Microsoft Office Document Image Writer F$ Disk Default share ####_####### (F) Disk ADMIN$ Disk Remote Admin C$ Disk Default share session request to 192.168.1.4 failed (Called name not present) session request to 192 failed (Called name not present) Domain=[#######] OS=[Windows 5.1] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager] I searched the net for a solution but I got nowhere.
