Does anyone have information on what the future will be for the ATI fglrx drivers under Fedora 9 since the linux 2.6.25 kernel is now being used? From the section titled "Kernel 2.6.25 and ATI driver fglrx 8.476" at... http://www.frogge.de/pepper/patch/patch.html#fglrx ...it appears that the Linux 2.6.25 kernel has been changed to coerce the non-GPL drivers into changing their license by restricting access to kernel symbols for non-GPL drivers. Does anyone know if Fedora 9's kernel disabled that change or will we have to wait until ATI works around the new limitations on compiling their non-GPL drivers under the 2.6.25 kernel?
