Unfortunately, switchdesk being a per-user tool, it won't change your login
manager to KDM (which is a systemwide configuration).
Correct. It just switches your desktop environment. If you want to
enhance switchdesk to be able to switch the login manager or provide a
new tool that does that (ie) switchlogin , it would be a useful thing.
