Well, I've not yet seen gnome-packagekit, but from my experiences with pirut, it would be quite a challenge to make it a worse POS than pirut :-). As practically the first app that anyone sees following a fresh install, pirut is a terrible thing to get as a first impression of the GUI on a new release. (Just as one example I can't recall any time that the progress bars worked on the version that made it into the DVDs for a new release - it just looks froze up for an hour, then says "done!). At the risk of fanning partisan flames, I have to say the updater on ubuntu gives a much better first impression. -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
