Hi Sushant, I seems pure SATA controller driver issue. I suggest boot from live Ubuntu CD/DVD. (You can use Fedora 8 live Cd also for that) and find out witch driver required for SATA controller. lspci, and lsmod will help you here. then get that particular SATA driver and install during advanced installer. Once you succeeded installing Fedora 8. Please let us know the experience in detail.
