Can't stand it over old political issues. I'd run Windows first, and
that is saying a lot. Just me speaking for me, in comparison I like the
way KDE is VERY configurable while Gnome, to me, is like having Mom (or
worse yet, Stallman) "I know better" in the computer. Fsck that.

Used it long time, it's great for gaming machines and very configurable
for a minimal installation on older gear, which is why I use it when i
do. 

What's to keep us from jerking KDE4 out by the roots and just installing
3.5? If KDE4 isn't ready yet for prime-time, why release it?? Under what
conditions does it fold like a house of cards?  Is it happy with a gig
or more of memory? Is it unhappy with less than a gig of memory?? Video
requirements stricter?
