Just me speaking for me, in comparison I like the way KDE is VERY configurable while Gnome, to me, is like having Mom (or worse yet, Stallman) "I know better" in the computer. What's to keep us from jerking KDE4 out by the roots and just installing 3.5? If KDE4 isn't ready yet for prime-time, why release it?? Under what conditions does it fold like a house of cards?
