Hi;
Just a thought. I would like to setup my workspace switcher so that
when I switch work spaces it will show different wallpaper on my
desktop.
Just saw an announcement in fedora-package-announce for wallpapoz:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2008-2949
2008-04-08 23:42:39
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : wallpapoz
Product : Fedora 8
Version : 0.4.1
Release : 5.svn87_trunk.fc8
URL : http://wallpapoz.akbarhome.com/
Summary : Gnome Multi Backgrounds and Wallpapers
Configuration Tool
Description :
This tool enables your Gnome desktop to have different
wallpapers for different workspaces or virtual desktops.
Also, if possible, I would like to attach my launcher icons on
my desktop (not on the panels) to a specific workspace so that when I
switch work spaces a new set of launchers appropriate to that work space
are shown.
Not sure if there's anything for this.
I guess my questions are:
Is this difficult to accomplish ?
Is it something I can do by writing some simple code for a file; which
file ?
I'm running Enlightenment ( E17 ) here, and it will do everything that
you need out of the box. But the setup is a lot of work.
http://www.enlightenment.org has all the details.
