I thought that meanwhile it is obvious to anyone how this works. The glibc releases are timed to fit the Fedora schedule. There will be a 2.8 in F9. You'll likely see it before Monday. The release doesn't come out of the blue. It will differ only a bit from the 2.7.90 snapshots. Rawhide is a constant beta test for the next release. And timerfd is there. Has been in rawhide for a long time. - -- ➧ Ulrich Drepper ➧ Red Hat, Inc. ➧ 444 Castro St ➧ Mountain View, CA ❖ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFH/iVF2ijCOnn/RHQRAmOaAJ93lV+f3A1D40/MdXk8f45v4G8gOwCgx1Di FrgioxIIAoBgO5+WyDGAQXI= =nnz/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
