With previous versions of Fedora I have had issues with my CannonPowershot A430 digital camera that I have never resolved.

I upgraded my workstation to Fedora 8 recently, so today I plugged thecamera into the workstation rather than my Windows laptop.

Fedora detected the camera straight away and let me download the images.Perfect. Couldn't ask for more. This is one more nail in the coffinof Windows on the laptop ...


I love Fedora.
